League Finals
Good wins yesterday for Limerick and Sligo. In particular I thought the Sligo performance was good.

Re: League Finals
Another very enjoyable game between Armagh and Down. Well done to Armagh on their victory.
So far it's been a good weekend of football. Hopefully Mayo and Cork will keep the run going.

Back at university tomorrow...cant wait!!
Armagh's fitness really showed in the last 10 minutes, would say that they aren't the finished article yet though.
Not enitrely sure how Down got that free which led to the goal though.

Enjoyed Div 4 and 3 Finals - I thought the Div 2 was poor enough fare and the Div 1 is pretty awful too.

Re: League Finals
Mayo should collectively start up a bottling company, they seem to be experts at it at this stage.

Don't know what div 2 final you were watching? It was a great game of football. Div 1 final was poor all right.

Saturdays matches were a joy to watch.Armagh v Down was very good also but it was not Cork's fault that the Div 1 final was one sided. They played great football but I had expected more from Mayo. Cork look a serious outfit this year. Overall the weekend matches were very enjoyable and I expect a great championship.

Re: League Finals
Seriously I didn't enjoy the Div 2 final much and the football in it was poor enough. It was close which made in exciting but the quality was not great at all. I thought Vernon had a fine game for Armagh.
The ref in the Cork-Mayo game was also a bit whistle happy and pulled a lot of stuff when there was a good advantage one. Kinneavy was good in the Div 2 Final.

Don't know what you were seeing so JC. Did you not see the fantastic point taking, the defensive intensity, the high fielding, the accurate kick passing? If you didn;t like that then I think you better not watch the championship this year. The majority of games will be at the same or worse standard.

Kinneavy was a bit too whistle happy in the first 20 mins.
Armagh aren't at their best yet there is obviously room for improvement. Dont know about Down, maybe a grounding for the team was needed.
As for the game overall, im sure most people who was there or watched it on TV would fully agree that it would have been worth the money.
Re: League Finals
Ah it was enjoyable cos it was close - there were a huge amount of errors but fair enough there were a lot of good scores and the defences did well. Don't get me wrong it wasn't a bad game by any means - I just think the quality was down a bit which you'd expect at this stage of the season.

I would say that both teams wanted to avoid injuries which is why RC didnt play.
