Derry will win Ulster
Anyone else have serious difficulty understanding the Derry accent? Cassidy was on RTE Radio there, all awks and ayes, like its a separate language spoke up there. Awk.
Anyway the bit that I did pick up was that he is quite content with where are Derry are, says in terms of time and peaks, Derry are exactly where they want to be. With Tyrone's relegation casting doubt over how much of a lead they now have on the rest of Ulster, I wonder has Cassidy judged this to perfection for a Derry Ulster win. In the past, we all know they like to crumble after setting themselvas alight in the League but its much different this year. Perhaps the reason for this is down to a long term stragedy much like Kerry in 2009 and Tyrone in 2008?
Nice to see Monaghan get a bit of revenge too retaining their Division One status over the Oak Leafers by a single point. But come July, I think there'll only be one team holding the Anglo Celt Cup aloft.

Ayell tell ye one thing high. I doubt them thare muckers are gunna be fit tae win ulster the year. Unless Bradley cops himself on a wee tad. I doubt that that they'll be up frae much the year. I racken that Down might be up for a quare run in ulster the yare if clarke stays fit.
Teerone are gone high and donegal are noughtin If ya can keep a lid on young Murfee. . Ourma mite be coming good but I doubt another year would do them nae harm. all in all I racken Down'll take it aheed of ourma sur.

Re: Derry will win Ulster
Delighted that we retained our place in Division 1, couldn't get down to the game and it was brutal trying to keep up with what was going on in the Galway-Derry game, bad enough keeping up with our game with JP Graham and Nudie! Anyway we stayed up by the tightest of margins but we'll take that, given the players we've been using/not able to use in the league.
Good win for Derry today, but they'll be annoyed at letting an 8-point lead slip when just another point would have seen them stay up. I know what you mean Loyal, the past few years they've been flying in the league and not went too far in the championship so maybe this will give them a kick up the **** ahead of the championship and they'll be well up for it. I don't think they had the Bradleys playing today among others, when they've a full pick and all on form they've a very talented team, they just can't be consistant enough. It'll be a tough game against Armagh, after contrasting league campaigns, should be interesting.
