hipster wrote:no from what i read from tommy c he is just like a lot of tyrone posters that i see they be little a lot of other counties who won sam by saying they were handy ones and the ones they won were hard fought ones , and dublin have and are and will always produce great footballers just like every other county
An unworthy and unwarranted reply. You are attacking the poster, not the post.
I'm quite sure Thomas Clarke is, as he continues to show here, well able to reason his point and hasn't resorted to attacking posters as yet. Throwaway one liners do not win arguments amigo.....

Jaysus lads you'd think TC was a primary school chap here. He is a grown man - hugely articulate and well able to defend himself, and a great poster to boot. I fundamentally disagree with him on this one and have said so - and thrown a few dusters at him into the bargain. I don't see anyone attacking men not posts but I've seen a fair bit of it around this site on other threads and no one says a word. Ye are all getting very PC here ...... and ye slag off the mods ...

I agree. Rarely have I read a post as full of venom, hatred and raw bigotry as that oone by the Leitrim man.

Is that a bit of bitterness I hear Jayo? Did 2005 and 2007 just magically disappear? The Royals will be back Mr. Sherlock don't you worry.

2007????????? When we gave the worst performance I've seen in a decade ... and still drew. Straws ... clutching ... But ye will be back - we have sent so many of our lads down there to procreate that the gene pool will improve and some decent footballers are bound to appear sooner or later ...

Worst performance you've seen in a decade? Ehhh where were you for the Kerry match last summer? Or the Tyrone one the year before. And there has been country people moving to Dublin for a lot longer than there's been Dublin people moving to the country... Maybe that's why Sam hasn't gone to Dublin in 15 years

Meath v Dublin 2007
Tyrone v Dublin 2008
Kerry v Dublin 2009
Worst Dublin performance in a decade (1997-2007) - get it?
Oh and the country people moving to Dublin - yes we have 1.1 million people and still can't win Sam. Perhaps they all go home at the weekend and there is no-one left to play the GAH. But our county board is full of club delegates from the 'country'. Some cynics might say that's why one of our best player's transfer has been voted down.
