GAA Results Round-Up 14/02/10
Division 1:
Mayo 1-12 Tyrone 1-11
Galway 1-20 Monaghan 1-14
Division 2:
Donegal 3-11 Laois 0-05
Armagh 2-19 Westmeath 0-08
Division 3:
Wexford 1-14 Offaly 2-10
Sligo 1-17 Louth 2-10
Division 4:
Wicklow 1-13 Leitrim 0-09
Kilkenny 0-02 Clare 2-18
Waterford 1-16 London 0-08
Great Result for Mayo, with Ronaldson putting in yet another superb performance! McMahon sent off with a few minutes to go. Mayo were winning by 4 points close to the end, then Tyrone launched a counter-attack. Great match-awful disappointed I couldn't make it.
Something needs to be done about Kilkenny football-U-12's could do better than that.

Re: GAA Results Round-Up 14/02/10
I was at the Monaghan game. The lads fairly stepped up on last weeks effort in fairness to them when they played with lead in their boots. I'd say Joe went very soft on them this week. Conroy and Bergin are clearly our best option at midfield, these two can both play and move about a bit which the likes of Cullinnane,Lydon,Coleman etc find a bit hard. Blake made a difference at centre back whilst Sean Armstrong is fast becoming my favourite footballer. His workrate has doubled in the past year and his finishing is superb. Hopefully he can get through the year injury free.
Monaghan were just about making a game of it when their no 10 got sent off midway through the 2nd half but Galway always had a bit more in them and were good value for their win. Neither team had a shot on goal throughout the match and then both pop up with a goal in injury time, Nicky Joyce with a belter last kick of the match.
The hand/fist pass rule or whatever its called is a total mess, completely disrupted the flow of the game and needlessly destroyed some good moves from both sides.
That aside it was a decent game of football, and though theres still a lot of work to be done nice to get some points on the board.

Mossbags, for once I agree with you re: Armstrong. I think that he's a fantastic talent. I've met him a few times and he's one of the nicest lads you could meet. He's training to be in the army(last I heard) and so he's very fit. In my opinion, he's one of Galway's best players, and will be huge for them in a few year's time.

I thought he was working in Ulster bank Essie .Not really sure to be honest. Anyway at last we have finally found something that we agree on. And on Valentines day too
Well done to your lot again today, outstanding win up in Omagh, made me a nice few bob as well I caught the last 5 minutes of that game on TnaG, do you know was McMahon on a 2nd yellow when he was sent off. Looked a bit harsh if it was a straight red

He could be working in Ulster Bank now, was definetly training with the army last I heard!
Yes Mossy, maybe it's the day that's in it! Finally we agree!
Mossy I was only getting updates about the match. Tried every single station and even Mid West had the Kiltimagh match on-very disappointed with that. Radio 1 was giving a few updates, so I don't know the details about McMahon's sending off, although there was a bit of a melee.
Coverage of the matches were diabolical.
