well you are from Kerry is that not the norm.
You mean to say that Kerry don't automatically qualify for the final every year?! Kerry play games before the final? News to me.

Smug? You try travelling from Tralee to Dublin and back on the third Sunday of September every year. Long journey to make with a hangover on the Monday in order to be home before Sam.

Well had a bit of a one in 2008 after winning the U21 All Ireland. But yes other than that only had to contend with hangovers in 5 years out of the decade 2000, 04, 06, 07, 09. I presume you've only had the two yourself Bocerty - ever!

They certainly did-I think Kerry people had more of a headache than a hangover after those 3!

But would the minor/senior double not be the same hangover?

I believe it'd possibly start out a minor headache, then after the Senior Final, a migraine....
However in '06, the minor headache came after the Senior final!

no because the minor went a replay and it was the week after that we actually won it

Oh no, I meant in the minor final in 2006, which, if my memory serves me correct-didn't it go to the replay? Therefore, Kerry had a minor headache when the Rossies won!

I did Mick! They were a pressie for mo dhadaí and I got one for him, my brother and my sister and I-so we're sorted for the season ahead! There's plenty of them left as well! You're guaranteed a seat in Croke Park for the quarter and semi-finals, provided Mayo get there, and all the League matches and first round of the Connaught championship are included in the price!
The best thing about it is that if Mayo get to the Final( ) and you've attended 60% of their games, ya get a ticket! There's a mad scramble in my club when Mayo get to the final. Last time we got 2 tickets, but 4 of us wanted to go, so we said that there's no fair way out of it, and we gave them back to the club. Now we'll be sorted!
Have ya got a season ticket yourself Mick?

Re: GAA Season Ticket
i did surely esther, i renewed mine last november and i also got a junior ticket for my nephew who comes to all the matchs with me. it was great value last year, although after attending 100% of the games, including new york ( which i saved 20 bucks with the season ticket ) i did not get a AI ticket which you are put into a draw. I e-mailed croke park but they said only the winners would be notified, and they would not publish the winners.

Anyone who attends the NY game deserves any ticket they want IMO. Not that you Didn't have good craic I'm sure but I reckon it gives a great life to the gaels of NY to have an invasion from home.
I know a Mayo lad who went to the NY last year actually. Tall red haired lad from Castlebar. I can't imagine there were too many of yous.
