Drink Driving ...
Well its the hot topic at the moment! So where do you stand on it. Personally if I can only have one or two pints I couldn't be bothered going out. I am all for zero tolerance - if you have a pint don't drive.

Re: Drink Driving ...
well JC i'd by lying if i said i wasn't guilty of it myself a time or two in the past, including one night where had i been stopped i wouldn't have driven a car for years
Thankfully those days are long gone and i have to say i have no tolerance for it myself either. I'd rather saty sober drinking coke or nothing at all than risk a second pint and end up getting caught. If i was caught my job would be gone so its not worth it, and the risks involved in terms of accidents death etc just don't bear thinking about.
Still its amazing to see the amount of people who take the car to the pub and have a few pints and drive home when the truth is they were within walking distance or could have got someone to leave them home.

Zero tolerance all the way.
I never drive when I've had a pint but I'd be most worried about the morning after. If you go out and have a massive session, are you in good shape by 11-12 the next morning?

Fully agree with RMD, would never drink and then drive home, but I'm sure there's been mornings where I've still been over the limit.
The morning after would be the main reason I'd be against lowering the limit, sure you'd be afraid to drive for the day if you'd a heavy one the night before.

Strange thing was you couldn't open a country pub unless you provided a big car park.
I would have sinned in the past. For the last twenty years I drive for miles AFTER the pub, hoping to be stopped.
