Tommy Walsh-St.Kilda
Whats everyones thoughts about Walsh heading over to St.Kilda? we all know it was obviously going to happen but its stillkinda shocking to see it happen.
i had heard it from a reliable source close to Tommy that he was going to go but the Kerry county board and management wer seemingly kept in the dark until now.
O'Connor wont be happy with this and will be even less happy when Moran follows suit.

Re: Tommy Walsh-St.Kilda
without wanting to sound cheeky Swinford - i couldnt give two fooks - if i was in his shoes i would have done the same - he's a strong lad built for the game in OZ and good luck to him.
Just dont expect us all to bow down to him when he returns. If it annoys JOC then in my book it can only be good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best of luck to him. Shame that Kerry will now have no fire-power up front.

Re: Tommy Walsh-St.Kilda
i think fair play to him any young lad given a chance like that should jump at it, and it will be good for the GAA as well as alot of these young lads will only play out there for two years as the chances of them making it are still quite slim, when they return they will have two years expierence of playing professionally which can only help them on there return, i think you will see that with young clark from down this year. plus i dont think

Personally i'm delighted on 2 fronts!
1 - St Kilda get a great prospect for the future (hopefully it'll help us to the AFL Premiership soon!)
2 - Kerry lose a starlet, fantastico!
