Official meet topic
Its been a good few months now since the site was started and we have almost reached 30000 messages on the forums. So would you consider a meet up with fellow posters? Not sure when we are going to try and get this to happen because 1) Christmas is near and 2) Its not that far off GT's first birthday either.
The meet will take place somewhere everyone can get to and we will try and meet in a location that is an even distance for everyone to travel. So, if you want to take part put your name down and pick what time of year you prefer (before Christmas or on GT's birthday).
Regards.

Re: Official meet topic
Will we be having a Guest of Honour? like for example, Joe Canning. Or even better, Vincent Hogan or Martin Breheny.
We are, in all probability, good.
Count me in so depending on availability.

Jaysus Sami if you head that far North you'd need to give all the city boys and girls a GT Sat Nav to get them there.............

Re: Official meet topic
Slightly off topic but in about 40 years of going to Dublin airport I've managed it, but can never, ever, successfully navigate my way back. There's by-phookin' passes, mad signs, roundabouts that appear quicker than mushrooms and every conceiveable trick to lure you into Dublin and onward to Wexford or Limerick.
As in Jim's case, I acquired a SatNav on the free last year and find that if I can find "HOME" on it it works fine.
I'm up for a few scoops before the Commercial Fest gets into full swing....count me in...
