Forum Meet

Given Boxtys hatred of revisiting old threads i have decided to start a new one for this (shortlived as it may be)

Did you ever have a forum meet after, if so how did it go?

Reason i asked is that another forum i am a member of had a meet about 2 months ago, i went along as it was close to where i live and had a brilliant nights craic. They do it every year and it always seemed great craic, and the fact it was close to home made it easy for me to "call in for a quick pint". The banter was unreal and coupled with forum pool and darts competition that was a good earner for some (not me).

If you haven't had a forum meet, you should do as it's good to have a slagging match with the faces behind the keyboards!

There hasn't been a forum meet. There's been a bit of talk of one but only a few people have ever met AFAIK. You are alway welcome to my gaff in Mayo at any time.

Bald Eagle, kindly desist from usurping/piggy-backing on threads that you haven't fully researched.

It's the festive time....otherwise the status of my annoyance might have spread to the relevant thread.
