Dunne
Average boxer.
Said it all along.
Good job this Thai lad put him out of his misery because if Israel Vasquez or whatever you call him got at him, he'd be a dead man walking.

Re: Dunne
Its sad to see though, at the end when he was being interviewed I think he showed how much he loved what he was doing. Hardy looking wee boy the opponent though.

Re: Dunne
You've a big heart Oaksy! If he wasn't going on all week about how this was for Darren, he might have lasted a bit longer than three rounds. The Cordoba win was a fluke, I couldn't believe he won that night - Cordoba was so much faster. But then again the rugby lads were after winning the Grand Slam a few hours previous so maybe it was scripture that a famous day for Ireland be completed!

Re: Dunne
It was a great day wasn't it. Dunne's almost 30 I'd say he could give it a couple more years perhaps. I absolutley can't wait to see Martin Rogan rematch against Sam Sexton, will be some match. Think Rogan has a broken bone in his hand atm though so could be a while.

Re: Dunne
Jeez you know everything 'bout boxing as well!
Is Martin Rogan from County Derry?
I don't think Dunne will ever become a world champion again, he just dosen't cut it at the very top.

Re: Dunne
Like the commentator said, he has the Heart of a Lion, that can only get you so far but, sometimes it can win you trophies but more often than not it doesn't. I'm 118lbs, Bernard Dunne is 122lbs! How tiny must he be for a man!
Also Rogan is from Belfast!

Yes well assuming you've an amazing figure (which I don't doubt), then yes he's probably quite small for a man. But I'm only 160lbs or so, what weight do you like your men!?
I wouldn't pay much heed to anything Jimmy "Michelle is innocent" Magee says.

Re: Dunne
Ah poor ould Bernard - but in all fairness one good hit and he's down. Amazingly Magee and McAuley missed the shuddering hits that nailed him each time. Waste of ringside seats....
