Bulmers is now an under eighteen's drink in my opinion.

Its not quite a pint of Guinness but its not a coke either - its kind of an introductory drink just to breed you into the world of alcoholic beverages. You can always tell the lads who have trouble handling their drink or the under-eighteens if they have a pint of Bulmers in their hand - no offence GF.

I agree with Jayo - Heineken they way to go.

No offence taken. I drink most things apart from Guinness, just depends on what I want at the time. Do they still do Harp in Ireland?

I haven't seen it lately now that you mention it.

I wouldn't drink that much Guinness, I had a feed of it one day and I was in a hoop the next day. Only certain people can drink Guinness you know, its all about being able to acquire a taste.

Would only have taken Guiness on a few occasions, and not too many pints those times. Have heard some horror stories about the effects the next day so I'm wary of it! A few pints will have to be taken in a few weeks though to celebrate Arthur's Day!

Twas my first ever pint, never touched it since! Although I imagine no pint would have been that nice it being my first.

worst i ever had was a pint of Guinness in my local, my father and i ordered a pint each, - we both took a sup at near enough the same time and both spat it out simultaneously - got the bar man to check it and there was mould growing in the pipe coming from the keg and some of it had obviously ended up in our pints - i can still taste it

I was a committed Guinness drinker until about 6 months ago and then the last 15 or so years of it just seemed to catch up with me! I'll stick knock a few back when I'm over in Ireland though, it does taste better! I'm acquiring a taste for real ale but I've discovered you don't sober up until two mornings after. At all costs I avoid Belgian beer after one particularly long and very blurred night on the Leffe!

There's an old bloke over here from out west who drinks Staropramen and all the other old lads with their pints of Guinness giggle away at him because you drink it out of something akin to a large test tube when served in its own glass. It Never fails to me make laugh, laughing at them laughing at him and him oblivious to what they're laughing at, it's all done in good spirits though.

Worst pint I ever had could have been any from a year spent in Australia, shocking stuff altogether, after six months I turned to Whiskey, I thought they can't mess that up, it's sealed and shipped in, thank the Lord for Jameson's!

Anyone ever drink Nostro Azurro (Italian lager beer)? Get a 660ml bottle and drink it ice cold - lovely stuff!
