Down 2-16 Dublin 2-14 [Full Time] a late goal by Dublin should have seen them through but then Down got an inury time goal.

Re: Minors
Thats a decent enough looking Armagh side, could have scored 5 or 6 goals there today, mind you Kerry were brutal. Dont mind Jayo lads its that nonchalant attitude towards underage structures that has Dublin stuck in the rut its in. Galway for the minor hurling

Re: Minors
McVerry is a lot like McConville and MacParland is another McDonnell. Things a looking good for Armagh but we need Grimley now!
Re: Minors
Armagh did very well today, missed a couple of goals chances but by far the better team.
The kerry keeper looked about 25!

Re: Minors
Great win for Armagh there, very good team. As O'Rourke said at HT, even though they were down by 3 pts they looked far more dangerous and it was only a matter of time before they broke through - only for the Kerry keeper who was excellent, Armagh would have wrapped it up much earlier. Some serious forwards(as our lads found out unfortunately!) and a strong team all round.

Re: Minors
Im happy...I will be living in Ireland when this match is on. Doubt I will get tickets but might go to Dublin/Armagh
Re: Minors
i thought it was a decent enough game of football - i thought Armagh had played themselves out of it in the first half. They were taking way too much out of the ball and were guilty of some poor shooting especially the number 13. At the same time i thought they were by far the better side and eventually took the game by the scruff of the neck in the second half to prevail more comfortably then the scoreline would suggest.
One thing of note though was the Kerry free taker - i have to take my hat of to him as he didnt miss too many and one more than one occassion he was pointing balls of the ground from way outside the 45 and he had plenty to spare too. Good to see a young lad perfectong one of the dying arts of Gaelic football and having the courage to execute it on such a big stage.
Armaghs victory goes to show the fine line betwene success and failure - but for two dodgy penalties in Clone sin the first round game that could easily have been Tyrone minors yesterday.

And if Jordan had not have dived in 2003 it could have been Armagh 2 Tyrone 2 in All Irelands. The way it goes. That ones Just for you Bocerty

Re: Minors
Cillian O connor after cracking in a couple of superb goals to put Mayo 5 points up in the 2nd half. Down look fairly rattled. Cant see any way back for them here.

Re: Minors
Cracking minor match! O'Mahony has a great future ahead of him - and he's only 16 I believe.
Galway were not letting it get away this year!
Overall a cracking final day!
