tickets
just wondering fellas and females i was looking @ gaa website and for the semi final last yr there were reductions on ticket prices for students , the price dropped by €20 and as i am still one myself does the same apply to this years semi final? i see they have €10 tickets for behind the goals but each club gets a limited supply which will prob be passed onto youth players firstly.
i will be going anyway but just curious missed the 1/4 final due to holidays so not sure if it happened for it?

Re: tickets
I think it still applies. You buy the ticket at full price and enter at Gate D or something in the Cusack where you get your refund.
Nearly sure it applied last week for the hurling semi.

Despite my advanced years I was doing a Diploma in Employment law at BMC (BIFHE) in 2007 and used the card that year, much to the annoyance of my younger work mates.

I'd say you would want to be studying at Paddy's age to need a student card for the next Armagh game in Croker ...

Re: tickets
Have to say for obvious reasons I haven't been to a final in years. I always took the view that the participating counties should be left the tickets. However having seen the crowds at games leading up to the final I don't hold this view any more. A lot of people are obviously at their first game of the season for the final.
Emboldened with this new found reasoning I figure if its a Tyrone-Kerry final I will go along for the occasion and to clear my lungs for the Red Hands! Couldn't watch Meath in a final, no interest in a Cork-Kerry possibility so the only one I would go to at this stage is K-T!
Sure maybe I'll meet Boc, TC and others for a few before hand!

Re: tickets
i'll hopefully be in quinns jc depending on next sunday but will be well in for the minor game .
samin what you on about the ulster minor final was the worst game of minor football i have seen in years neither teams forwards looked capable of kicking points! usually minor matches are high socring affairs it was brutal . i would like to see your boys winning but it wont be no hiding you will be dishing up.

Well to be honest i would settle for any sort of win, i see you mentioned the brutal Armagh v Down game and not the other 3 high scoring games they have played.

Nice spot Jayo, that was the other idea we had was Sorrento and Rome. Was a choice between Portugal or Italy (heard Italy was full of rowdy Dubs, wallets and handbags going missing flat out)
