Donegal v Kerry
Thought Donegal looked very lacklustre today. Absolutely no spine to the team. Missing a goalkeeper, full back, centre half back, a midfielder, a centre half forward and a full forward. The game was over after 15 minutes! Not looking good for the year ahead.

Re: Donegal v Kerry
Twas very very poor all right Lifford. Everyone just looked as if they were out on their feet even before the game started. No one wanted to take responsibility for things and Kerry just breezed through with ease.
McHugh was saying on Highland that all you can do with a game like that is forget it and move on and he may be right. Other than the lesson that we have very few top class players, what can you take from it. Stephen Griffin showed well I suppose and Roper worked hard but apart from that ...

Re: Donegal v Kerry
Donegal football supremo John Joe Doherty has admitted that the Tralee taming was a reality check for his McKenna Cup winners.
Doherty’s makeshift side won the Ulster subsidiary competition but they were completely out of the race after the first quarter of Sunday’s clash with Kerry at Tralee, only managing to put some respectability on the scoreboard when the Munster champions eased up.
"It’s a reality check for us, but there’s no better time to get it," reflected Doherty. "The game was over for us after 20 minutes.
"The positive side of it was that we kept plugging away through the second half when we didn’t really have that much to play for.
"We’ll not go looking for excuses but the reality is that we have a few players to come back into contention over the next few weeks and there will be interesting times ahead right through the league."
