Re: Exams
Thanks Box but I am afraid he is a Dub. Did my best though, brought him plus his two brothers from birth to the Kingdom but alas I am on my own in the household. Still I live in hope :roll:Good gang to live with though.Boxtyeater wrote:Real Kerry Fan wrote:Young lad very happy.. Got 580 points and the course he wants. I suppose I must be thankfull that the ma has some brains.
A fair tally all right RKF, well done to him.
There is definitely something in the water with regard to Kerry folk, what with the Healy-Rae's ability to drag votes out of the ether on TV polls and at General Elections, impossible points from sideline kicks and now this fine accumulation of points...

Re: Exams
Thanks lads And sure my mam is more stressed about it than I am. I'm more worried about my tan and getting to my hair appointment on time. Won't be much of a session for me, only three cans of koppaberg mixed berry, because I'm going to a fairly strict underage disco so.. But if I'm not around tomorrow afternoon it didn't go well

Re: Exams
Why do Universities persist with traditional exams?
Had swapped some notes with a classmate for an exam this morning, rang him last night to clarify the meaning of a sentence he had included and I was told "No idea what it means man, I'm just going to write it down anyway" Exams as memory tests cause this sort of bolloxology. Big changes needed.

Re: Exams
I revised for the (very pointless) RE exam by watching Father Ted all day.
Opened the paper to find the question going something like:
"In a film or television production you have seen, explain how religion is portrayed and decide whether or nota religious person would be happy with this portrayal."
Had to fake a coughing fit to hide my laughing.
