Re: Tips/Predictions/Bets
Boxty a friend of mine breeds some of the best greyhounds in Ireland..He told me a story of when they went to Limerick one night for a race they didn't want to win so they gave the dog some sleeping tablet to stop him winning..When it came to the race they went to the box to get him out, he was a sleep and a steward was watching, they were sure they were going to be tested and in big S..t..the dog came out of the trap and won by 10 lenghts
Low and behold they thought this dog was top dollar and decided to run him in shelbourne without the sleeping tablet..they all lumped on -and that dog is still running they never gambled after that..just made their money on the breeding..

Re: Tips/Predictions/Bets
Great novelty betting options on PP's re: hurling final....
A quick mix of 5 involving 1st. to 10 points, 1st. goal, scores from placed balls over 6.5 points, Cats for double, and Cats to win both halves pays 16.8 to 1
Add on to that, Cats to get 1st. free, score 1st lead at h/t and win the bet becomes 139.2 to 1.....
A nice mix could/should yield handsome dividends....

Won't happen Boxty. Related contingencies all over there.
Save your novelty bets for Serious Attitude 3.35 Haydock tomorrow instead.

Aware of the contingencies** Loyal, but a score on each out of Nanny's pension will add flavour to the occasion..
Your form of late on the racing front has been indifferent at best. I'd need more affirmation of prospects to venture any investment.
** Cracking use of word/phraseology BTW...

- 50/1 available
- Winner of Group One Cheveley Park at two
- Eyecatching staying on fifth of ten on far side group in the 6f Golden Jubilee at Royal Ascot
- Ignore last run, hampered early and never recovered
- Stiffer track and potentially slower ground should suit
- Irishman and man for the big occasion Jimmy Fortune aboard
- Well drawn
- Doubts about the readiness of the front two in the market

Re: Tips/Predictions/Bets
going to do a lucky 15 in 1st goalscorers tomorrow.
Darren Bent 9-2
Piquionne 6-1
Tevez 5-1
and either Van Der Vaar or Pavlyuchenko at 13-2.
Also for anyone who follows horses, the guy who writes the Value Scope on back of racing section of Daily Mirror has been on fire the past while. Basically picks one horse from saturday racing, has had about 3 16-1 winners in past 5 weeks, other two weeks he has had horse placed. he is worth following and sticking with

Re: Tips/Predictions/Bets
Did a yankee on Wednesday football - FC Twente draw at 12/5 - sound. Inter 7/10 to beat Spurs - sound. Lyon to beat Benfica at 11/10 - sound. Bloody Rangers to lose at home to Valencia let me down. Still made over 150% profit. I will post a good football bet here from time to time .. stay tuned!

a yankee at those prices, you're such a dare-devil jayo. Only winding, Valencia let down a mate of mine for a good bet as well

bernard brogan or stevie McDonnell to be top scorer in first test. Both 4-1. Could be worth a few quid

I used to do 4 draws out of 8 Samin (70 combinations) which meant the stake had to be low but if you got even 5 or 6 it was good money. Now I sometimes do a yankee with 4 draws (usually all around 12/5 or thereabouts). 2 right will get your stake back and more - and if you click all 4 you'd be looking at the guts of €400 for your €11 bet!

Re: Tips/Predictions/Bets
On a serious self thought out situation:
Doubtless St.Bridgets will overcome Glencar/Manor tommorrow, but the spread-bet could represent value...Manor, as we'd call them, have tenacious defenders (averaging a concession of 8 points per game all year) and in Croal and the Manor Glancy, have some scoring forwards...
Kiltoom will be hard pressed to exceed 1-10 on a good day and our representatives are up for a lash at it....
Glencar/Manor minus 6, at evens, would be a value bet......
