30 km per hour in Dublin ....
Who comes up with these ideas? 30kph in the city centre in Dublin - crazy stuff. It's like a slow bicycle race out there now! People driving in the wrong gear - no change for the women then - and emissions will be a lot higher. Garda hiding in the bushes clocking everyone - a pure money making exercise - nothing to do with safety at all. A fella I know pulled up beside me yesterday and asked if I wanted a lift. 'Jaysus no' says I 'I'm in a hurry!'

~Same thing as leasing out he speeding guns etc. All the boys are interested in the "soft" crime the easy money. Not interested in sorting out these semi state bodies, payoffs and REDUCING those 166 wasters to something more appropriate like 60/70.
Lets keep those feckers down and sure they will still vote for us.
Clever ploy by FF people get so pissed off they don't vote cnuts get back in.
FF can be any party they are all the same at this stage.

Re: 30 km per hour in Dublin ....
When I heard it first never paid much thought to it - then when I heard the backlash on the radio last night I actually tried driving at 30 kph leaving work.
Its actually dangerous cause you keep looking at the speedometer and you need to be in second gear which means that if you touch the pedal to stop the car idleng you hit a breakneck 40kph fairly easily.
There was a lad on the radio at lunchtime reckons its more dangerous on the quays because pedestrians are now crossing the road without waiting for a gap because teh traffic is moving that slow
