Donegal have gone with an unchanged team from the one that started against Dublin. TBH there's not much to consider bringing into the team anyway. Colm Anthony would obviously be an option but the forwards have been performing ok generally.

what is theh verdict from the neutrals? Is this the weekend when Donegal's destiny of Div 2 football in 2010 becomes clear?

Sorry RM - but it's Cheltenham week and going on current form Donegal must be 66/1 for this one. Can't see past a home win....

Galway (SF v Donegal): P Doherty; N Coyne, F Hanley, D Burke; G Bradshaw, D Blake, D Mullahy; J Bergin, M Lydon; S Armstrong, P Joyce, C Bane; D Dunleavy, M Meehan, N Joyce.

Lydon starts again instead of Cullinane. Sammons giving him a chance in fairness but cant see anything but a Bergin/Cullinane midfield come championship.
Dunleavys not bad but not great either.
Think Galway should win this. Home advantage will count. Remember though, other than Kerry, Donegal were the only team to beat Galway the whole of last year.
Incidentally, this game was originally fixed for Duggan Park in Ballinasloe but word is that Sammon had it changed to Pearse and the Mayo game moved to Ballinasloe instead so as not to give them Mayo 'footballers' a feel for the ground out there in Salthill with the up-coming clash in the Connacht Championship not too far down the road.
