Re: Forum of hypocrites!
I can't remember this forum being up and running in 1987, but i'm sure some of the older posters will correct me.

Re: Forum of hypocrites!
Well to be honest, I am amazed at what I'm reading on here. This is the first time I've had a proper chance to read the forum since the controversial handball and its cringeworthy stuff. Labelling the French cheaters whilst 1987, 1996 and 2004 are conveniently forgotten about? And then there is the penalty against Georgia? Ireland had plenty of chances to win the game in both legs and even at that, they fell into the play-offs thanks to a very favourable group draw. How were they robbed of a place in South Africa is what I would like to know? Am I supposed to believe that Ireland's qualification came down to five seconds of natural instinct by Thierry Henry? One of the game's all time greats who is now a cheater? And anyway like one famous Mayfield man says, how do you let the ball bounce in the six yard box? The players only have themselves to blame.

They may not have qualified due to the lottery of the Penalty kicks, but at least all irelands misses were honest! Look at Anelka diving then Henrys handball, Henry is a cheat and the only reason he owned up is because he couldn't possibily deny it, otherwise he would have taken another leaf out of Wengers book!

You're right Loyal. Sea the Stars would never have let the ball bounce in the box...

Henry shouldn't have been given the opportunity to handle the ball.
Ireland had to score two goals to qualify. They failed. So its somebody else's fault.

That's right Patrique, i mean Loyal, Ireland did have to score 2 goals to get through, but they would have won had they taken their points.

Sure most horse races are fixed. Pull back your horse Johnny I've a lot of money on the 20-1 shot.
Ride that horse out the back I want good odds on him the next day.
