ahhh yes i have heard this one before

i suppose i'm halfway between the two - because i kind of get what it means. its all numbers made up of only 1 nad 0 isn't it?

so 10 means 2?

If i remember my binary correct it means there are two types of people in the world.
10 = 2
11 = 3
100= 4

That is all i can remember from my school days so I have a basic understanding of it.

The computer you are working at now is basically a load of 1s and 0s. Binary is a number system just like roman numerals or a clock or just normal old numbers.

000 = 0
001 = 1
010 = 2
011 = 3
100 = 4
101 = 5
110 = 6
111 = 7

I found this thread quite funny, pity other people don't understand it!

Sorry Loyal - I was never good at binary or that kinda stuff but me mental arithmetic is s**t hot! No calculators in my day lad. I think you may be a bit of a 'Rain Man' maths genius - so if I ever get to Vegas I'm gonna take you along! Cool
