Whats the story with being called sweetheart? Do ye find it offensive? eg You dont know nothin' about sport but thats alright Shinners sweetheart.
What about being described as lovely? Is that bad too? eg Essie has a lovely set of eyes
What gives with being labelled bird, would that be wrong? eg Don't fancy your bird much
And say someone calls you darling, what then? eg, Níamh leave it alone for a minute darling Im trying to type here.
I do my best not to offend people so please help me out here ladies

Can you change your name from AnMhí7. Maybe give yourself a more hot sounding name. Thanks princess.

I'm only messing too. Generally if a guy called me princess I'd damage his marital prospects. And I regret calling myself AnMhí7 now.. I wanna go back to being RoyalGirl

If I was still a MOD I would fix it for you Royalgirl but because I am a man of principle I had to resign my position. Theres one or two of them still there though who I'd consider as 'good peoples', they might be able to help you out.
ps I officially stopped being young in June 2009

Mossy, I think it's fantastic that you would like to improve your manners and respect for girls. As far as 'your eyes are beautiful' etc. There is absolutely no problem with compliments! HOWEVER, 'Chick'?!? Do I go around calling men 'Roosters'??!?
Sometimes using terms like sweetheart when you don't know the person very well can seem condescending, so I would refrain from using terms like that to women you wouldn't know very well!

In the part of the world where I live you're called 'sweetheart' or 'darling' pretty much everywhere - shopkeepers and the like do it all the time - especially the women working in Coopland's bakery who seem to treat every customer like a grandchild of some sort.

I guess it does depend on where your from really Sami. I heard that in Dublin the fellas refer to their female friends as their bit**es and the chicks don't even seem to mind. Bad form though if you ask me.
Its true Essie that I would have more respect for birds than most of the lads here on GT. See the way I totally boycotted the 'Women drivers should be banned' thread. I found that thread to be very anti feminist and condescending to the women who do be posting on here.

Respect for Mossbags=+1! Very good Mossy! I boycotted that thread too, feeling it was very stereotypical and the argument in favour of the proposal was seriously flawed!
