In fairness the original Galway Girl as written by Steve Earle from his 'Trancendental blues' album (titled 'The Galway Girl') is proper stoned out alt country whiskey blues at its best.

lets just say the day houly broke tyrone hearts in the athletic grounds mad a bad monday for me but the retunr fixture the follwoing year at omagh made up for it!

I'd say most of the worst songs don't make it onto radio, so I'm sure there are loads out there in a bin somewhere.

Maybe I just hate Country and western, or rather Irish c and w.

The Galway Girl sounds awful to me, and I could never stand Philomena and the "L'il old home in Dun guan yon" and stuff like that.

Do Tyrone people at Armagh schools not attend St Pat's Armagh, and all live in Moy.
