Was just a "friend" cinema trip. She was interested when I first got to know her (from what I'm told by others) but I was in a long-term thing so never made a move. By the time I was single she'd become my best mate, and tbh I'm too terrified of fecking that up now. Friends with her 7 years at this stage, so it's a lot to risk. Will work up the balls at some stage....

Feelings never go away. Best thing for you to do is come out straight and just ask her, its better than waiting around thinking about it all the feckin time.

It'll have to be done all right. It's just working up the balls to take the risk! Bit awkward if things go wrong, were in college together, Masters together and now work together!

You've gotten to close to her, fellas should never become good friends with any girl they think they want to go out with. I have a good mate who gets on really well with girls. To my knowledge the girls all think he is goodlooking, the mistake he has made though is that they all just see him as a good mate. He spends his time really getting to know a girl then tries his luck, gets knocked back and is then all embarrassed about it because they're his "good friend". As where if you try it on with someone you hardly know and get knocked back just call her a lesbian and walk away. (joking girls) Ask her to try and set you up with someone, see how she reacts. If she is keen to do so then forget about her, if she is reluctant maybe she is after you too.

the girl im now with was my best friend for years we got on great went to matches together worked together went out for drinks meals cinema. after just over a year of being really good friend i realised i hadnt really shown any interest in women since i started doing things with her. this was in my head and i started falling madly given another 6months maybe (not good on dates) as we walked back to the car after playin a match a girl came up to me and asked if i was free some night during the week for a drink i kinda brushed it off as my best friend was right with me took her number told her id be in touch. and as i turned after putting my gear in the car i asked my best friend if she was free for a drink during the week she leaned in and kissed me... that was over 3years ago and we are going strong so i recommend do it black and white you never know till you try??? dont waste time.

christ this site is turning into a dating zone or the love zone or something like that personally i dont know how a man can be friends with a women without there being something going on, i mean dont get me wrong women are great but be friends with one? they are wonderfull, magical, energetic, brillant beutifull creations but not frind matterial IMO, we are too far away from each other in most aspecs of our personallitys to really be frinds IMO.

I've played in Clones a good few times but never made it to Croker.

i actually did play in croker infront of 70,000 plus fans!!! did not score though and it was for the schools teams at half time!!!

Get into a text convo, at least 3 text minimum, then when the chat is going and all is good, throw in something like "next time we go to the cinema, i will pay, but you have to earn it" .....its a joke, its light hearted and casual. Her reply to that should tell you all you need to know..........
