All-Ireland semi finalists?
Kilkenny
Galway
Tipperary
Cork
- Would love to see Kilkenny NOT win Leinster but it may well happen unless Galway can pull it off at the weekend. Whichever way it goes I can still see the Cats making it this far even without winning Leinster.
- Same thing for Galway, they are good enough to progress even if they do lose their Leinster semi final to KK.
- Tipp have always been nearly there, last season was a massive season for the Premier even with the disappointing semi-final exit to Waterford. They ran Kilkenny very close in the League final and are currently one of few teams who have proved they can beat the Cats. Hopefully another Munster title for Tipp and a semi-final spot, if not qualifiers should not be too much of a problem.
- Although dumped out of Munster already, I can see Cork being ever-present in the qualifiers and pulling themselves back up into the semis. They have a lot to prove and the ability is there to prove it.
Waterford, Clare, Limerick, Wexford and Dublin are going to provide tough opposition however, it could still go anyway, gearing up to be a good summer!

Galway, Kilkenny,Cork and Tipperary would be my semi-finalists as well baring no shocks, however it will all depend on the draw.

Yep assuming the draw keeps them all apart you'd have to be looking at these four alright. Havig said that I can't remember the last time the next category didn't pull off at least one shock ....

Kilkenny, Cork other two spots up for grabs big time can see both Galway and Tipp imploding with all the hype about them.

Never mind the semis, Sammy - to be honest I can't envisage anything other than a black and amber jersey hoisting Liam on the 3rd Sunday in September.

Re: All-Ireland semi finalists?
yeah thats what i'm thinking in all honesty Jayo. I know Tipp CAN beat KK, I just don't think we're going to be up for it just yet. Hopefully I'm wrong, maybe Galway will
wrong-foot them at the weekend and set off a few suprises. Maybe.

Re: All-Ireland semi finalists?
The only team I can see getting to the semi finals apart from the four mentioned are Wexford. They always play one stonking game every year.
Just a pity they can't play two or three.

Good point - from a Dub point of view I hope Offaly was their stonker!!

Re: All-Ireland semi finalists?
The only current county with the players to possibly beat Kilkenny are Galeway, but they do not have the organisation or cohesion. They seem to love stabbing each other in the back, even more so than Antrim.

Re: All-Ireland semi finalists?
The way Galway are they would surprise everybody by beating Kilkenny and then end up losing the final to either Wexford or Dublin.

Re: All-Ireland semi finalists?
Galway do semi-finals but then to lose the final.
What I mean is they generally pull a big all ireland semi (Kilkenny been the prime example) but then lose the final.
Can't see them beating the Cats if Joe Canning is out, is he??
