Leinster semi-finalists will face 6 day turnaround
The losers of Wexford/Meath and Dublin/Kildare will have the minumum 6 days to prepare for Round 2 of the qualifiers.
It begs belief. Instead of addressing this issue, the GAA have actually managed to introduce it elsewhere.
Ulster finalists and Connacht finalists will also find themselves facing the same challenge. That spells bad news for Cavan/Monaghan and London/Leitrim. The luck of the draw will be important. You coudl potentially face London or Leitrim and if not, then Cork or Kerry.

Re: Leinster semi-finalists will face 6 day turnaround
But hasn't that been the way for ever, some pair of teams face the 6 day ordeal. From a Leitrim perspective we're looking no further (with trepidation as it is) than Sunday. A drubbing awaits the "victor" particularly with the Connacht final most likely in Castlebar. That's fixed for July 21st. AFAIK.
It's a long wait from Sunday until then, so whoever wins on Sunday will probably relish 2 matches in 6 days. Lads want to be playing competitive football we're always told. Loads of physios and head shrinks about nowadays.....
