Why don't FIFA cop on?

What is the bloody point of letting Andorra, San Marino, Faroe Islands (sorry Mr Kerr!), Leichenstein etc into these WC and EC groups. It only adds to the fixture headache. Its a nonsense!

Some of the teams do improve. Look at Cyprus, they used to be terrible but are now improving and had a club team in the group stages of the champions league. I'd love if Andorra was in Ireland's group.

Who ever finishes bottom of the group, the results against that team will not be taken into account when the top 8 second places are being calculated so it won't really affect the final result at the end of the day.

No but it's two extra matches when there is no need for them. What is the point in a load of butchers, bakers and candlestick makers playing in their own half for 90 minutes? We've had Andorra a couple of times and they've been shocking games.

I reckon if we declared a Republic on the Northside of Dublin, FIFA would put us in a qualification group.

Why are Kazachstan playing in the Uefa qualifiers, the same with Turkey, surely they should be in Asia.

In 1995, did Ireland not draw 0-0 with Liechtenstein in a Euro Qualifier? If these countries are kicked out, then the Irish should be kicked out with them.

Is this not a Gaa site why bring up the queens game the whole feckin time if its not man u or leeds I'm dammed utd etc etc etc. People get a life and before you cast stones think of the New Yorks, Londons etc are they not cannon fodder too.
But would you have a champ without them ( deny them the chance to play?)

I think that result was a major factor in Ireland not reaching euro 96, they have to be allowed to play and try to improve. The faroe islands have appointed Kerr who for them would be a high profile manager so they are trying to make progress. I think the Vatican should enter a team.

Andorra is actually a recognised country, part of the UN since 1993. England are not.

So Andorra have more right to be in the competition than England.

Other non countries are small insignificant places like Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland.


I think Andorra should lodge an objection, get Frank Murphy to present it, and bye bye England.
