27 point win. What a waste of time.

From a Galway point of view, it was good to see Hayes and Healy perform well. Joe is a marked man this year, he is going to have two lads on him every game, the onus is now on the other Galway forwards to make sure he isn't the only threat. The Joe Show bubble could burst spectacularly later on though. Credit to Laois, Galway aren't renowned for a strong defence but they still put seventeen points on them which is a decent achievement.
