Re: Best Goals
Second and Third were decent, first one was a bit of fluke. Down players falling like flies around him.
The best goal I ever seen was the 99 Leinster Final. It was Meath at their best playing Gaelic Football the way it should be played. Cormac Sullivan kick out, John McDermott knocked it down to Trevor Giles, Giles the beautiful aristocrat that he was found a bit of space, looked up and saw that Ollie Murphy was inside on his own with Peader Andrews, Giles with the 50 yard pass picked him out with almost pinpoint accuracy, Ollie placed the ball to the right of Cluxton and in the back of the net. I believe that was Ollie's greatest ever performance in a Meath shirt that day, it was class.
The 91 goal, while not being spectacular would have to be included for similiar reasons.
Of course, these were Meath goals so I presume they don't count?????

Re: Best Goals
Loyal you are staring to piss me off just stop the Derry and Ulster hatred ok, Meath circa 1996 would have been more at home in the Ultimate Fighting Challenge, pity more people remember GG for his hair-do these days than anything he ever did on the pitch. Just wait til Sunday week and then you can give your opinion after Dublin and Meath beat seven shades of sh**e out of each other.

RMD was right.
Loyal you keep recycling out the same shade day in day out about Ulster football and it's just pissing me off, you seem to have a bit of a selective memory to realised that your own heroes have done the same and worse. Your like a dog with a bone and it's starting to get boring.
Also, since 2000
Sam has been won by Ulster 4 times, ,Munster 4 and Connaght once
NFL has been won by Ulster 6 times Munster 3 times Connaght once
Total-
Ulster 10
Munster 7
Connaght Twice
Any wonder you jealous, Leinster just haven't been able to perform in the past decade.

Re: Best Goals
I wish I had footage of Ray McCarron's goal against Cavan in '93 but unfortunately I don't, was a brilliant individual goal, great skill involved. Hopefully the son can replicate it in the near future!

Well there's no sign of a son for me yet JC! But if I ever do he'd be doing well to score a goal like that!
Nah I'd say Ray's son has a better chance him being a minor already!
