Cormac - 10th anniversary
It's so hard to believe that Sunday 2nd March will mark the 10th anniversary of Cormac's death. When you look at his list of honours, it's ever harder to believe that he died just a few weeks after his 24th birthday:
County
AI SFC
2 x USFC
2 x AI U21 (Captain both years)
AI Minor (Captain)
2 x Ulster MFC (1 Captain)
McKenna Cup (Captain)
Club
Dublin SFC (UCD - Captain)
Tyrone IFC
2 x Tyrone MFC
Other
Sigerson Cup (QUB)
Ryan Cup (QUB)
Railway Cup 2003
3 x International Rules representative
Individual
All-Star 2003
Young FOTY 2001
Irish News Ulster FOTY 2001
Cormac was that rarest of types in life: a hugely talented overachiever. He was strong, athletic and intelligent, yet all of those qualities were dwarfed by his enthusiasm. He was determined to be the best at everything he did and, pretty much, he was.
A leader, a winner and a gentleman, his loss is still so sad 10 years on.

Nostalgic interview with his parents and brother Donal on RTE 1 yesterday around 10.30am. It was on the morning show with Sean O'Rourke and is probably available on the RTE player for anyone interested.
Cormac's father referred to the competition commemorating his name as a game played by "hallions"...
RIP Cormac.

Unreal, I find it hard to believe every time I think about it. We lost a shining light that day, unfortunately Tyrone lost more than one over the past 15/16 years.
RIP Cormac
