TG4 Live Games Schedule!
Just wondering if anyone knows irish could keep this updated weekly with what games are on?
I looked at the sky planner last night but just says a range of county finals from around the country, no actual fixtures, would be nice to know, if anyone can help.

Limerick and Cork hurling finals are on this weekend, presume that they will show at least one of them

Don't know - There does seem to be a slight bias in these towards counties with a Gaeltacht population
Though its more a football issue as hurling is not big in the gaeltacht in any case - In galway hurling being more east of the county - Not sure about Clare ?
But in the football - Galway, Mayo, Donegal - more likely to feature than Louth, Kildare, wexford etc
Not sure if its target audience driven or more a case of where TG4 are able to mobilise their Outside broadcasting or the fact that the powers that be are naturally more likely to be from Galway, Mayo, Donegal or Dingle.

This Sunday:
GAA Beo 15:30
Live coverage of the Donegal County Football Final and deferred coverage of the Limerick County Hurling Final. Presented by Micheál Ó Domhnaill with commentary by Brian Tyers.

Surprised they aren't showing the Meath County Final between Summerhill and Dunshaughlin. The last two Keegan Cup deciders have been classics. 2009 a replay under lights on a Thursday evening and last year Paddy O'Rourke's sensational last second free kick. From a personal point of view, I would say the drawn game was the best I seen in 2009, at any grade, club or county, and last year again, game of 2010.

Re: TG4 Live Games Schedule!
Unfortunately i don't get any of the games unless i subscribe to Premier Sports and as the only thing i'd want to watch on there is the GAA i won't be paying for the other rubbish they show like the Brazilian League and the Conference among other crap!
Their fee on top of the Sky subscription is just too much, hopefully the GAA can agree some sort of package to get the GAA games included in the Sky Sports subscription in the UK and off the Premier Sports platform. If they want the game to grow here then this would be a massive step forward for them should they, the LGFA and the Camogie lot should work harder to get major games in Ireland shown to a wider audience over here. It's unreal how many people you meet (of a certain age) that say they loved watching the GAA roundup show on Channel 4 on a weekend!
Then again, as you're all based in Ireland i'm sure you don't give a toss, i likely wouldn't if it were the other way around!

The trouble with that BE, is that there is no way SKY would devote 4-5 hours on a Sunday afternoon to gaelic football, hence it has to go to a smaller provider. But I agree, Premier Sports is expensive if all you want to watch is gaelic football, although their coverage is extensive from Feb-Sept.

True TC, very true. I'm really disappointed in the GAA moreso than the TV broadcasters as they are missing the chance to broadcast their sports to a whole new audience, jez even the Aussie Rules is on Eurosport on a Monday night!
