You will be the happiest at 7 pm tomorrow
Aug 5, 2011, 04.02PM IST
We will all share a collective smile on Saturday - the sixth of August, at 7pm, according to a new study.
The magical combination of 6-7-8 has been hailed by psychologists as the happiest time of the year.
According to a study, Saturday is the day we feel cheeriest; we start smiling the most from 7pm, when we finally relax; and August is our favourite month because of the heat and holidays, reports the Daily Express.
In the survey of 10,000 people, by Nectar loyalty cards, 35 per cent called Saturday the happiest day of the week, with 20 per cent saying August was the best time of year.
People start relaxing from 7pm on a Saturday, with 33 per cent citing between 6pm and 9pm as the best time of day.
Professor Geoff Beattie, of Manchester University, said 7pm on a Saturday in August "represents the life we all aspire to - leisure time, good weather and the company of friends and family".
He added that although this was also true of a Sunday, "you think about the office on Monday and it drags down your mood".

So we will all be happiest at throw in time tomorrow!! I think this is a sign of the effect the Dublin team have the world over!
As Prof Beattie added, "Dublin playing in the Championship is a big occasion for everyone - even the other counties though they will not admit it freely. Dublin wear light blue the colour of a good sky and their sublime skills and the red hot atmosphere they generate has a feel good factor with everyone. Everyone wants to see them win - especially when they play Tyrone. Everyone will be happy at 7.00 but I'm afraid Tyrone people will be quite miserable at 8.30."
