Sports that keep you occupied
during the lonely months where there is no GAA (apart from clubs).
So what sports do you take an interest in?
For me it has to be Ice Hockey, while I live a few minutes walk away from where the Coventry team play I have not been for a while partly due to living in Belfast where once again im not too far away from where they play either. The American NFL also interests me, have recently changed my phone to the Nokia N8 and it lets me watch games that aren't even shown over here -at a price of course.
Never really showed a great deal of interest in American Football but watched an entire game last week Colts vs Raiders and have been looking forward to watching tonights game.

I love the sport that rigorously exercises your hand of choice, perfect for keeping oneself occupied when there is no GAA to watch. You can play by yourself, which is an additional bonus. I sometimes watch internet clips to help me improve my overall game, and have found this to be extremely beneficial. The only downside was that once my shaft was bitten by a dog.
I refer of course to golf!
