1 CJ is not better than anything tyrone have produced - he would not nail down a squad position on the tyrone team because he does not believe in the team game he thinks its CJ's game. dual players dont make me laugh we had a fella who was on the hurling team and football team on the one day in the late 90's fella by the name of owens from killyclogher - BOC will testify to this.

indeed i can testify to this RHM - played both hurling and football with him he was also a decent boxer in fact he gave the Clones Cyclone a real pasting in his amateur days despite being much younger.

CJ is a good footballer but he is a selfish player in my opinion - he possibly did have plans to go to America thats his call - but dont try and tell me the older brothers return t the panel didn't cause issues - NSG you have a real chip when you claim we all hate Antrim because of the city boys on the panel!!!! what difference does it make were your from and why would it bother Tyrone people - that has to be one of the stupidest posts i ever read

his problem is that he thinks he is the best thing since bread came cut. and because antrim footballers and hurlers have the same chance of winning something / profile - he sifts between the two.

i know how i would sort him out - tell him if he quits one panel he cant then join the other for the rest of that season or the next. his yearly walk out is becoming boring.

good footballer but only looks out for number one - with that attitude he wont go too far. ( i know weveryone will tell me he has won this or that but if he was in tyrone kerry armagh or any other "big" county he wouldnt get a look in with that sort of behaviour!)

Just noticed the end of this post. "Tyrone, (3 all Irelands) Kerry(35 all Irelands) Armagh (one all Ireland) or any other "BIG" county.

OK, you are aged what, 16, and think the GAA was founded in 2003?

Or did you mean something like Rory McIlroy, Jack Nicklaus, Shane Lowry or any other "BIG" golfer.

Wonderful isn't it.

Owens the Tyrone player, was not in the same class as Padraig Devlin as a hurler, let alone Ciaran, Kevin or CJ McGourty (or even Melissa).

Good by Tyrone standards, but when you come from a county with real dual players........Kildare v Antrim - Page 2 Icon_clown

Nine in a row is PRESENT enough for me.

As for bog ball, well Ulster football is even less competitive than the hurling these days. We got tonked by Kildare today because playing against the like of Tyrone and such up here is no preparation for the real thing..........

26 paddy by the way and if you were to say who are the current big teams tyrone would be one of them- as k anyone bar yourself who would probably quote cavan as a big team beacause they probably have 237 all irelands and 232 were to brady in the hand ball !

dont give me this bollock about football starting in 2003 we cant help it that was the first year we won sam - it took one hundred years of tryin but i tell you what we have done some catching up since then.

i have been all over ireland supporting tyrone and have seen them playin every division bar divison 4. i have seen our hurlers play in an all ireland final and i dont mean the lorenzo meagher cup.

Total lack of interest.

There were more people from Kildare and carlow at the games.

Two of the hurlers are on HOLIDAY, the only scoring forward at football away to the US of A.

Like I said, a TOTAL lack of interest in inter county affairs in Antrim.

It has been like that for 50 years.

Lory Meagher? Legend.

I grew up reading of his exploits in the three game saga that was 1931, and on to the great years of the 1930s that were Kilkenny's, yielding 4 all Irelands or so.

A veritable legend of the game, on the team of the millennium at mid field with Mick Gill, a great from Galway who was on the 1927 Dublin team many experts rated as the best hurling team ever.

And not a Dub in sight.

Apologies for earlier Redhand, I sometimes allow self abusers from other sites to rile me.

That is why I apologised. I am being genuine here. Sorry, no-one should patronise anyoneelse or make them feel that way.

Many of us sort of do that in a wind up way because we sort of "know" each other on here, but I should not be doing it with you.

Although, I can now.Kildare v Antrim - Page 2 Icon_biggrin
