Dublin v Kilkeny The Real Leinster final
Looking forward to this game bit dissapointed that Fallon has walked hopefully someone can coax him back..Hope Anto has a plan to contain the Cats.. Laois pushed up to the pin of the collar on sunday..
But hopefully that game will bring us on a bit- And we can give the Cats a run for the O'Keeffe Cup

Hope we can give it a good rattle. Probably as good a time as any to be getting the Cats - if there is any such thing. Hopefully Daly will have them primed. If they were to get over this one there will be nothing left to beat in Leinster.

I agree with everything you said but is there ever a good time to play the cats...They should have moved the Cats to Connacht ..

Ah no mullins - tradition and all that. I mean if they moved Dublin hurlers or footballlers to any other province and we were to inevitably win that championship there would be no sense of acheivement. It'd be like gatecrashinig a party and winning the karaoke. You know you don't belong there and everyone would be looking at you and through you. You'd be like a fish out of water. Gimme the thrill of winning your own championship - football or hurling - in your own province any time.

This should be an interesting enough support act for the Galway game. Fallon leaving (if its true) suggests serious disquiet in the Dubs dressing room which is a shame as otherwise I'd have fancied Dublin to put it up to Kilkenny.

Mossy i don't tell lies Fallon walked on sunday Daly cleared the bench and left him sitting on his ****..He believed he needed match time Daly didn't give it to him so he walked...Hopefully it was a knee jerk reaction and he can be coaxed back....Mossy it could cause problems Fallon was very popular with the panel..

I 'believe' Mullins man, I 'believe'
I agree with you if he's gone it more or less spells the death knell for the championship prospects of the Dublin hurlers this year which is a shame considering how well they've been progressing the last few years.

The Kilkenny team is scary.
Dalton starts at right back. Saw him a couple of years ago and in two games, one at left back and one at left half he gave all star displays. Wonderful talent.
TJ is now on, Richie Power will soon emerge as the new "Shefflin", his skill level is amazing, and the best forward in Ireland for two years s on the bench, along side Mulhall.
The only thing that can beat Kilkenny this year is mileage.

Re: Dublin v Kilkeny The Real Leinster final
Richy Power was excellent today alright, not at Henrey's level yet, but this could well be his year. Hogan on the other hand was poor I though, and Taggy or Larkin replacing him for the final is a mere formality I'd say. Jackie Tyrrell is some hurler, my motm today although Tommy Walsh and JJ, back playing on the wing, were outstanding as well, as was Rice who as made the midfield position his own at this rate I'd say.
Dubs were dire and have regressed badly this year. I know it was Kilkenny they were playing but they seemed to just give up very very easily and now look a sitting duck in the qualifiers. With an experienced hurler like Fallon walking last week there is reason to believe that all is far from well and Daly will be lucky to survive the year at this rate I'd say.
