Clearly Richard Bruton thinks otherwise, or is he another to add to my log-thread of people who follow where I do lead I wonder

I'll be honest with you Boxty, I had to stop watching after 4 minutes or risk throwing up. Who is that gobschite who can 'smell the power'? All FF have to do is put this lad all over their next election campaign and everything they've made a balls of is totally forgiven!

Enda Kenny you muppet!!!!!!!!!!!
Totally blew their best chance of ousting this government.
Some of the blame should go to Bruton too who's challenge was completely ill-timed. This challenge on Kenny should've happened after the George Lee debacle.
Eamon Gilmore is sitting back laughing at Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael having already started mobilising troops on the ground while Fine Gael bicker amongst themselves and Fianna Fáil make deals that will no doubt be broken.

I'd say the said George Lee must feel a bit of a plonker now, having jumped ship so soon. But I suppose being a Dub, he panicked after the first few "bad wides" and his chance at the big one is gone ...forever.
I notice that Bruton the younger has surrounded himself with a plethora of Dubs, Varadker, Olivia Mitchell Hayes and a few more no-marks. Throw "Snack Box" Naughten into the mix and there's your future Government.....
Jesus wept....

Presume up and coming poster boy joe Mchugh is in the Bruton camp too
unless him and the missus are hedging their bets.
Joe former farmer, social worker and Teacher should have all the traits for a finance role.

Wasn't the bould Olwyn on the plinth of Leinster House yesterday along with Snack-Box Naughten and the other disaffected Brutonites. Joe is therefore unlikely to be on the Kenny bandwagon.
You couldn't make this up.....

Re: Enda Kenny
Its the most likely option
But as I said maybe they should hedge the bets
If he backs Kenny and Kenny wins at least their will still be one ministers salary in three years time

I wouldn't have the creamery cheque on that option either. Either way, Fine Gael are fooked....

Speaking of Creamery Cheques the "new Fine Gael" would look to have distanced themselves from the "grass roots" if you pardon the pun.
Even the head of Varadker is enough to lose a signicant Agri Vote

Do you know anything about Politics? How can you say Enda Kenny is a muppet and he blew the chance of ousting the government? Firstly he didnt challenge himself, Bruton and his cronies colaborated with each other since January picking there moment to pounce on a 'weak' Enda (how they were mistaken), How exactly did he blow his best chance? the vote was 83-77 in faour of the government, besides the fact there was a coup dosnt mean it had any effect on the vote !!!!

Re: Enda Kenny
Found at last...Mayo man with a bit of balls..Inda holds off the wannabees..... Two things spring to mind here...
1. The cabal that surrounded Bruton the Younger imagined they were back in the era of "the men in the mohair suits" of the 1960's ..Haughey, Lenihan, O'Malley, Blaney etc., flash, arrogant, power hungry young turks....well they aren't...
2. If Michéal Ring doesn't get Foreign Affairs if/when they ever get their paws on the levers of power it's all a cod...
Only this morning, on Morning Ireland, he had a verbal joust with a party colleague from Wexico, Michael Darcy, who was in the Bruton camp. Darcy is a first time T.D. and he was effectively excoriated by Ring.
Ring, I'll tell you all, would sort them Israeli's out.
He can "smell the power" as shown above, but he can also go for the jugular...Wonderful day for Mayo and democracy...

Spot on Mossbags, best thing that could have happened for Fianna Fail. They'll barely even need to canvas the next election now that Inda is still the alternative!
