Monaghan 2010 Ulster Champions?
Surely anything short of an Ulster final would be a disappointment for The Farney this year?

There's no doubt that this Monaghan team will want to win something to reflect their emergence. They have a tough enough path though. They'll have to beat the winner of Derry and Armagh, Cavan and Fermanagh, and then probably Tyrone in the Final.

They have an ace in the pack in Paul Grimley, ask any Armagh or Kildare fan if they would rather have Grimley as friend or foe..

I've seen Grimley's work first hand myself bluearmy, he worked with us in the club last season and there's no doubt he helped us alot. Hopefully he can work his magic with us this year, staying in Division 1 is a good start.
I'd be happy with how we did with the players available, alot of new young players featuring and for the most part they performed very well against the top teams in the country, and a few older lads yet to return. There's also players who are improving all the time, like McManus, Hughes and Clerkin. It's time to do something in Ulster really, we've been saying that for a few years now but this definately is Banty's last throw of the dice. As usual, we'll have to do it the hard way, but for now all we're focusing on is the meeting against Armagh/Derry which will be very tough either way, and we've a good few weeks now to work towards that.

If they don't we'll have to put up with "The Banty Show" again with yet more column inches devoted to just how disappointed he is and that he's not sure if he could do it for another year!! I wish he'd just shut up and get on with it!!!

Trust me BE, this is definately his last go, although I know we've heard that before, but it's true this time!
