The only other ones I would think would be either Dinny Allen or Billy Morgan? Not sure about Morgan though, I'd be more inclined to go with Allen...

Haven't a clue Boxty, but I'll have one more lash at Cogan-even though I think he may have played for Cork.

Nah! Essie....A quirky sort of one....A couple of Nemo lads were in the vicinity of our local watering hole today (Them coming to the heartland to find wives) and came across the Boxman's path....Banter and general bollocksology were the main ingredients of the avo' but this oul' nugget arose.....I've tried the Google yoke to no avail, so don't expect an answer from Yorkshire on this one (Unless he has an eligible sister)...

My guess would be Stephen O'Brien - but he too played inter county.

Did Murphy not play with Cork though? I may be wrong-Boxty are you sure the fellow you're on about didn't play intercounty for Cork?

Yes, my initial guess was Jimmy Kerrigan. A great question from Boxty, though.

it would make you wonder how someone so successful at club level didnt get a run out for his county - but i'll trust Boxty on this one

Normally I'd never question Boxty's knowledge, simply because that fella breathes GAA! However, maybe he might have got a little detail here slightly inaccurate

Good one BB...sorry folks for delay in answering..I'd fprgotten it.
Tim Dalton...1979, 1982, 1984. 1989, 1994.....This as per confirmation from the Nemo clubhouse.
Edit....I looked up Jimmy Kerrigan and he has the same 5 as Dalton....They musn't like him in the Nemo clubhouse...
