Kilkenny are now unbeaten in 18 successive championship matches (Hurling).

Who comes next to this amazing record and the number of matches if possible?

I reckon its another Kilkenny team - maybe the 11,12 13 version. Cork won Liam from 41-45 but were beaten in the Munster Final after winning the first All Ireland due to a foot and mouth scare.

I can't remember the exact number but I'd say 19/20? with a good few replays in there too??

EDIT: KK have the record , didn't realise that, so ... 16/17?

With only 4 games a year for KK I'm slightly surprised, but they were in a few quarter finals I suppose.
