I only saw the highlights/melee on the news. Hard to see how only one red card came out of that. Just before it - and I don't know if it lead to the row - but one Cork lad pulled the helmet clean of a Kilkenny player. It looked a red to me.

do you mean the helmet was red

i didnt see the melee though did see the majority of the game a scrappy affair probably best describes it - mind you that beach of a pitch didnt exactly make for fluent hurling.

The piece of skill at the very end for Corks last point was sublime in itself. Two defeats in a row for the Cats is it time to declare a crisis yet????

Nah Boc. Kilkenny will usually put in a good showing in the League and if they are around near the end will give it all. This year is immortality year. Every single mind, body, effort has only one focus this year - 1st Sunday in September. The Cats don't care about silverware in April. These guys have the opportunity to be hailed as the greatest hurling team of all time. Mind you they are probably more interested in being recognised within the county as the best ever team more than the 'national' accolade.

Kilkenny are going to take it out on the teams they are yet to play and unfortunately one of them is Galway.
