Sports Songs
There have been some horrific sporting 'tunes' over the years. England have had their fair share. John Barnes rapping!!! No! Then we had Hoddle & Waddle with Diamond Lights, Keegan had a go.
But for a tune (and a great one by Horslips) and something that really caught the mood this is the one. On a cold wintry day this will cheer ye all up. Some great memories and emotions in the video too.

Re: Sports Songs
you've got to hold it tight and give it at the right time, you can be slow or fast but you must get to the line, they'll always hit you and hurt you, defend and attack, there's only one way to beat them, get round the back, so catch me if you can 'cos i'm an england man, and what you're looking at is the master plan, we ain't no hooligans, this ain't no football song, three lions on my chest i know i can't go wrong

Galleon - Five in a row. Nothing else comes close.

That's the spirit Triona....the above posters and their stupid soccerball anthems.

That was at the stage he was selling the holly wreaths..correct I thought the elderly couple behind us were going into cardiac arrest, between his appearance and the "singing"...

Cardiac arrest?! I thought the old woman was trying to keep her purse closer to her chest for fear he'd go for it. Whatever about his singing, the smell was worse!

Twas your townie RKF who thought me the boys of Barr na Sride Triona. Now there is a musical connoisseur if ever there was one, a man who would have appreciated the remarkable voice being heard in Phibsboro that night. Yerself and Boxty were too busy annoying the good landlord with yer requests to switch on the x factor
