Anyone read Damiens lawor's book about the Waterford footballers meant to be a good read.
Also
Billy Morgan's
Brian Coady's
Micky Harte's

Or any other ones looking for a couple of reads for trip to Oz

Jim the book Around the World in GAA Days is a decent read. I can send it to you if you want as i am finished with it

I am writing one at the minute about an anti northern Agenda in the GAA - I doubt if it will be ready in time for your trip though!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mícheál O'Muircheartaigh has a new book out. Has anyone read it? I wanted it for Christmas. I've already read 'From Dún Síon to Croke Park' and 'From Boraloola to Mangerton mountain.' Both great reads-Mícheál is cool! Very Happy

I picked up Michael Caine's autobiograpy for £2 in a second hand bookshop in Robin Hood's Bay years ago. It's a huge volume, never got round to reading it until the latter months of 2009 - a very good book though, plus if you don't like it you could use it as a coffee table!

got Sean Kellys book. Have not started it yet, seems to be all about rule 42. It appears a bit boring.

have not read it so i have not found out what all is in it, obviously there must be some about rule 42 but if its all about it i would find it a bit boring. Read enough shite from tyrone people on gaa forums about it without reading a full book about it.

Oisin McConville's book was called the gambler, believe it or not its not all about standing in a bookies Books this Xmas Icon_rolleyes

I got it as a xmas gift and wouldn't recommend it. Its not even the great man himself just a couple of schmeisters cashing in on his name to sell a book full of old hat facts and figures and stories we've all heard before.
