Who is the most hated figure in Irish history

Well the result of this poll might have been different yesterday but today is another day. So lets see how it goes. Vote and give a reason.

Now this is pathetic #Henry up with Cromwell are you trying to be an ass. A person who MURDERED thousands of Irish people took there land and in essence was the forefather to the famine and the reason 90% of us can trace roots back to the far side of the shannon to a soccer player who played to win.

At least Cromwell played his part in the establishment of democracy. What the hell as Henry ever done but ponced about on football pitches and cheat and pout and cheat some more. A cnut of the highest order.

There she goes...I voted for Baroness Thatcher. It's hardly rocket science to figure out why really, except to remark on her phenomenal intransigence during the years of strife in the northern part of the island, the duplicitous nature of her negotiations with every delegation, her dismissive attitude toward Irish Táoiseaig and northern nationalists, her Thatcherite policies in the UK (miners/unions) and her stance on the Falklands issue are among the many reasons for my vote.
