Re: Question for Bright-Oak
Right the all important question.
What was the score in the Liverpool Sunderland game today?

Was it a balloon or a beach ball?
Liverpool, 15 points from 9 games? Think the balloon has burst their title ambitions!

Total disaster Loyal, they need quality players, their midfield is non-existent at the minute, need Aquilana fit to steady the ship there, you can't take away from Sunderland they are really improving. Liverpool's saving grace is that no one else is exactly setting the scene alight. It's not over til it's over and if that can start winning and stave off draws they still have a glimmer of hope.

Re: Question for Bright-Oak
Do you really think they still have a chance of winning it? Every decent team they've met so far has beat them. They'll no doubt go on a good bit of a run in time but they've left themselves a bit much to do methinks.

Arsenal going all the way! Arshavin, Rosicky, Van Perise, Fabregas, class players!

Re: Question for Bright-Oak
Aw certainly MMM, but look United drew with Sunderland at home with a full team Sunderland shouldn't be underrated. You can't say never, I mean where were United this time last season, 4th or 5th? When Aqualani is fit it will add an extra dimension, Glen Johnston needs to get back to how he was at the start of the season. Liverpool have world class players like Torres and Gerrard but take them out and who do you have? Average players, Yossi and Kuyt can perform but not consistent enough. United will find Rooney missing in the upcoming fixtures a big loss, Sunday week will be very interesting. Berbatov is stepping up to the plate, still a lazy bugger but scores when needed. The league isn't over yet, at least wait until January transfers!!

Re: Question for Bright-Oak
Arsenal are on a roll at the minute, and in full flight can be devastating as we've seen. When all those players you've mentioned are on top form they can rip a team to shreds with their passing. But they're still a bit suspect at the back at times, and they'd need to improve there if they're to win the league, in the tight games later in the season when they're not at their best and need to grind out a result, this will cost them. Top 2 at the minute will be the top 2 come the end of May in my opinion, could go either way though.

Re: Question for Bright-Oak
Yeah BO, the biggest problem with the pool is their lack of depth in the panel, Gerrard and Torres are special players but I don't think you will win the league relying on a couple of stars without having sufficient back-up who can do a job when asked. You can get by in Europe like that with a bit of luck but not over the course of the league. Again, I just think Liverpool have lost too much early on, 4 defeats and only one game against the big 4 so far. Sunday week is a huge game, Liverpool have to win. Utd badly lacking in midfield but are getting by, Giggs being the biggest factor in this, he's playing his best stuff in a long time. I'd thought Chelsea looked like a team on a mission but they've been very shaky at the back recently, Cech especially and their marking today was brutal. They'll likely get things together before long though and Drogba up front is in great form himself.

Re: Question for Bright-Oak
The same with United though MMM, take Berbatov and Rooney and the rest are pretty average, however they just seem to have the ability to grind out wins. Liverpool's defence is the main reason for their poor run, Carragher as much as I love him is not fast enough and gives away too many fouls often resulting in scores. Chelsea are slipping up quite badly I think that come Champion league knockout stage Chelsea will turn their attention to that and not concentrate fully on the league and from here the title race will reach a conclusion I don't believe the Big 4 will change, just the order.

If Liverpool had another Lucas or ten, they'd walk the Premiership. Isn't that right Bright-Oak?

Re: Question for Bright-Oak
Wouldn't say United's defence is average BO, although admittedly Ferdinand's form is abysmal recently. The midfield is which I've admitted, although a couple are having big games at different times, like Giggs, and Valencia had a great game today so hopefully he can knock on from here after a shaky start.

Re: Question for Bright-Oak
Horrendous performance - eight guys not good enough for Liverpool and he takes off the one guy who could score and replaces his with a WWF lookalike with a name like a cattle drench. That left full is slower that my internet connection and Maserchano obviously wants out - you'd have got more movement out of Meccano tonight. And Lucas - my god - didn't put a pass wrong all evening - cos he never touched the ball. Carragher was always a 100% player - like R Dunne - and his heart got him through - not any more. As for the young lad up front - I'd tell him to pack his things N'Go!! Kuyt is like Carragher - all effort and as much finesse as Francie Bellew. Skirtl has so many tattoos you could read him like a book!
The only correct thing Rafa did was leave Babel on the bench. The Kop shold have thrown on a few beach balls cos the beach balls would have had a better chance of scoring!

Jesus Christ Liverpool are poor at the minute, Rafa making some terrible tactical changes. Mossy that's 2 more cups in that pic than Liverpool will have this year if they keep performing the way they are.
