16 Reasons Why You Do Want To Be At School
1. Tomorrow is non-uniform day, for £1 you get the privelage of wearing what you want (even a GAA jersey if you're feeling really cool).
2. The core PE football league is hotting up, the Green team lead with Red behind, Yellow 3rd and Colours 4th, come on Yellows!
3. You have upgraded to a form room with computers which means you can visit educational sites such as GAA Tipster during registration.
4. You and your classmates came up with a genius excuse for not having aforementioned chemistry homework done.
5. You are top of the school, all the other pupils look up to you with awe, respect and fear and you love it.
6. In no other lunch break can you play a leading role in a 50-a-side football match.
7. Exams are only a formality, bring on the wide world.
8. The History coursework is on the Easter Rising 1916 and Bloody Sunday 1972, you get 100% on both.
9. There are so many brilliant and hilarious personalities and events throughout the day.
10. One moment or comment of hilarity can make the whole day pass so much quicker.
11. There is such an overwhelming sense of community amongst a year group.
12. There is always someone to talk to.
13. There is always someone to moan to.
14. The constant banter between pupils and teachers is brilliant.
15. The nicknames: "Gadge" "Van Der" "Semi" "Ghandi" "Le Stump" "Pasta Boy" "Ded" ...
16. Some girl I know.
