04/09/09 - Return of the King, how many winners?
2.20 Lingfield - Rare Malt
Looks sure to give Fallon a winner on his first ride back. Fourth first time out, nine lengths behind the current favourite for next year's Oaks before flashing home to take second on Kempton's polytrack last time up. Has started slowly in each of her two runs, will probably hit the stalls running with Fallon in the sadde.
WINNER NUMBER ONE
3.20 Lingfield - Roodee King
A race that dosen't look like it will take much winning. The return to five furlongs should suit this three year old gelding and with nothing hopping off the page, Fallon could be the difference in this horse losing its maiden tag.
WINNER NUMBER TWO
3.50 Lingfield - Diriculous
Without a win since August of last year but runs off a mark four pounds lower than that day's winning mark, so even though this horse is badly out of form, expect Fallon to get the very best out of him. Top weight makes life tough but a bold show is expected.
WINNER NUMBER THREE
4.50 Lingfield - Satwa Gold
Tricky little handicap with Saeed Bin Suroor and Sir Mark Prescott both running two relatively unexposed horses. Fallon's mount needs to improve but feeling is that Ed Dunlop could be plotting this one up for some time and he could give Fallon a four-timer.
WINNER NUMBER FOUR
6.20 Kempton - Wigan Lane
Paul Howling is sure to give Fallon a winner after all the work the King has done for him in the past year or so. Nurseries are always hard to predict but a return to the form which saw this filly win her maiden would surely be surplus to requirements here.
WINNER NUMBER FIVE
7.50 Kempton - Arte Vive
Fillies conditions stakes and probably the most prestigious race Fallon will ride tomorrow. The Filly is unraced but trained by the very shrewd Gerard Butler, the dam was nothing spectacular in France but the sire is possibly one of the greatest racehorses ever. Its a hard race to win but Fallon is sure to give another bold show.
WINNER NUMBER SIX
8.50 Kempton - Bugaku
Fallon's return would not be complete without a ride for old boss Sir Michael Stoute and the great trainer has surely put him up on a winner here. They were a great combination in years gone by and surely they will make a great combination once again.
WINNER NUMBER SEVEN

Rare Malt and Bugaku are bankers. 2 words - Buying money
Fallons sheer presence alone will be enough to win on at least 2 or 3 more.

will it all be above board though - or can we expect to see him jump of a horse 10 yards from home whilst in a winning position.................................

Re: 04/09/09 - Return of the King, how many winners?
Normally I'd be delighted to see a Hayley winner.
But she beat the King into the second.
One for the girls.
Horse drifted from 4/5 to 7/4, finishes second. Could Mr. Fallon please come to the stewards room? Fix.

In today's world of instant success Fallon is now a complete failure. Zilch on day one?
Forget him.
Forget him.
