No effect on the little leagues Oaksy, except that Carlow are already promoted into the Liam McCarthy from Christy Ring for next year.
Wexford are supposed to play Clare with the losers of that due to play
the losers of Offaly and Antrim, and the losers of this dubious
encounter get relegated and as mentioned Carlow will take their place
in the championship proper next year.
This is how its supposed to work anyway but the four relegation
play-off team are throwing a right hissy fit and are thinking of
boycotting the play-offs. They want the Liam McCarthy to be a closed
shop with no relegation, conveniently ignoring the point that none of them would
be in this mess if they wern't so **** in the first place. Sad really

Since nobody else is going to help Bright-Oak out in her hour of need..............
Carlow are coming up and one of Clare/Wexford/Offaly/Antrim are going down. But three of that four (Clare, Wexford and Offaly are now threatening to boycott the games because they think they are too good for the Christy Ring). To make things more complicated, Antrim were told they'd be in the Leinster championship for 3 years and they think they should be immune from relegation.
At the end of the day, the three worst teams are in the play off (Wexford, Offaly and Antrim) and Clare who have the misfortune of being managed by one of the most clueless people in the history of the Banner County, Mike Mc.
The Clare players would be better off managing themselves I think.

Re: Relegation
If they are not good enough to win 4 or 5 matches they shouldn't be in the competition, facto.

Correct
Clare havn't won one competitive game all year Niamh(league or chship) yet are still think its unfair their in a relegation play-off. The mind boggles sometimes
