Limerick v Laois
Will this be just a formality as people expect or will Niall Rigneys men cause a shock?
I think Limerick getting better with each game and it would be great to see Justin McCarthy wipe the smiles of John Mullane & Co. after the way they treated him.

Seats in Thurles are numbered so I won't have to sit through the entire Limerick Laois match.

This could be an exciting game expect Limerick by a least 15 points but laois could put it up to them

I'd say Laois might do the same as what they did against Galway by playing 7 in the backs and try and keep to score down, never looked like winning though. Having said that they still managed 18 points and they will have James Young back from suspension.

Young one of the games unsung hero's he must of scored nearly 80-90% of laois total scores in the last 5 years would possibly get on most other county teams as wellclash-of-da-ash wrote:JimWexford wrote:clash-of-da-ash wrote:Seats in Thurles are numbered so I won't have to sit through the entire Limerick Laois match.

Re: Limerick v Laois
Limerick hurling is in a mess. Lads walking out on the panel every five minutes. Niall Moran is out this weekend, Geary is more than likely out as well and Dodge is fairly doubtful. They are probably 3 of Limerick's best 5 players all year. Ollie Moran, Shaughs, , look like junior B hurlers. I was surprised Wexford didn't beat them last week though the current state of Wexford hurling make Limerick look like Kilkenny I suppose. Anyway, Laois won't be going down to Thurles to make up the numbers, they'll be looking for the win. They'll keep it tight it back, maybe drop a man back like Clash says and I read that they have a pretty good midfield too. Limerick by two but Dublin to destroy them in the quarters.

Laois seemed to have improved since last when 8 turned up for training one nightbut then again after over 5 years playing in the Liam McCarthy its about time they have started to improve.
