Who are the greats
Clash - I know you don't rate King Henry very highly. I think he is unbelievable - even a couple of things he did in the final were awesome. He has been unlucky with injuries but I think he's the real deal. Twice the player DJ was - could never see the fuss there!
Anyway - the ones that stick in my mind would be Eddie Keher, Nicky, the Connollys, Pat Fox, JBM, Ray Cummings, Johnny Dooley, Brian Whelehan - come to think of it there are more legends (out of a pool of a lot less players) in hurling than football. Who would your top 5 be - that you saw playing.

Re: Who are the greats
Sparrow and PJ O'Connell were great.
In fact the whole Clare 95 team was legendary.

Re: Who are the greats
The game has changed so much even in the last 10 years. Players skills are so much better now that they previously where.
Joe Canning and Henry have the potential to be the best ever.
I would love to see christy ring hurling now though I dont think anyone would stop him
(well except the 08 striking players)
