St Thomas v Loughgheil
anyone have the good fortune of seeing this game earlier?
A truly absorbing game played on an awful pitch, the commitment and energy displayed by both teams was a credit to our great game. Quite how Liam Watson put that final free in the back of the net is anyone's guess it was a wonderful piece of skill and one our old friend Patrique no doubt enjoyed!!!
In truth neither team deserved to lose and a draw was a fair enough result

unbelievable that the flutes in suits at HQ have arranged the reply for this weekend at the same venue!!!! The pitch is like a bog and not fit to host a game of hurling on .......
A total lack of respect to the players on both sides, could this game not have been played at some of the Railway Cup venues this weekend.

Was down Parnell way. Great game, great crowd. I think the 5.45 start (cos football semis are on at 2 and 4 I presume) is crazy and unfair to Belfast and Galway contingents.

Yeah i was at the first game the passion and commitment on the field were unreal neither team could shake the other one off and just when we thought the shams were down and out, welcome to the game mr watson.
No way the replay should be played on that surface again, looking at rain again today im just wondering what will become the pitch this weekend, but if its anything like last week im sure fans wont complain.
I cant make this week as im working which im raging about but its wetted the appetite for the starting of the NHL.
