Re: 2011 League Finals
Lets remember that first this was a most enjoyable game to watch. Cork showed that they will be a serious force again this year.Dublin must learn how to close out a match when on top. Got too loose when they should have been playing cutely. Thanks to both teams, football was the real winner. Regards tunnel incident I saw more pushing coming down from communion.CCCC will not be sitting until return of the Sunday Game so all can feel safe from suspensions.

Re: 2011 League Finals
2 good games yesterday. Donegal have improved a good bit under Jim McGuinness and won't be a pushover for anyone in Ulster provided the can overcome Down.
Should they fail to beat Down they still look like a side with a longish summer ahead. Laois too have improved, although they are still a bit small in the forward division.
The Div. 1 final, well what can you say. Cork drew on their self-confidence and experience, took their scores well, remained calm and eventually reeled in the Dubs. They are a big strong team with a few more to come back into the picture. They'll be there or thereabouts come September.
Dublin, dare I say, folded again with the winning post in sight. They made some poor and hurried calls at the wrong time, missed a few very scorable chances and made some odd calls from the line. Fair enough, Brogan was injured but I couldn't condone the taking off of Connolly. The sub Dean Kelly missed a howler and Declan Lally was introduced much too late.
Enjoyable matches, good long range scores and sportingly contested.
